They mean it when they say that anything can be a canvas for an artist. You can paint on anything from plywood to kites.

Kurt Schwitters: “Everything a artist spits out is art”.

Abstract art allows the mind to explore visions that are not based in reality. Decide on the subject and what you will be working with, then start our website.

Keep it simple, light and easy.

This guide will show you how to decorate your kites in advance of the flying season. You will need a plain kite and some acrylic paints. Also, you’ll need a paintbrush, a sponge, and some paintbrushes for the first idea.

Follow the steps below to create an abstract art painting.

1. First, take the flat side of the sponge and dab it in the paint that you’ve poured into a palette plate. The sponge will show the light texture on the kite when you pat it with the sponge.

If you want to see the abstract or texture art, make sure that the color of the kite does not stand out too much.

With the sponge painting, you can choose to mix colors or create a design in multiple colors.

2. Once the sponge art has dried, you can use paintbrushes to create anything on the kite’s surface.

Don’t press too hard, as kite paper is quite fragile. This is especially true when it gets damp. It is important to not rush this technique. Instead, take it one step at a tim.

3. After you have drawn the shapes or strokes of your desired abstract design, let the painting dry. It’s ready to fly once it has dried completely!

You can also decorate your kite with abstract art using a hairdryer.

You will need an organza or net piece, some acrylic paints, and a hairdryer.

Use the following steps to create abstract art on a kite

Decide on the colors that you would like to see on your kite. The colors won’t stay distinct, but they will blend in the next steps. Choose colors that you like together or complement each other.

It’s now time to start the process of creating abstract art. Pour the paints from their containers in small bowls or tins. You should choose to pour them into smaller bowls or tins before you start so that your artwork doesn’t get ruined.

Use old newspaper to protect the table or floor from paint.

Pour the lighter color first on the surface, then the darker, and continue pouring until the last color is the darkest.

You can also reverse the order or mix the colors in the order you poured them. If you don’t work quickly, the kite will be covered in a globule of paint.

3. It’s time to start creating your abstract masterpiece. Turn on the hairdryer and begin moving it from the inside outwards, spreading the paint glob on the entire kite. The artist can choose the direction in which they move.

The paint will spread outward when you move your hairdryer over it. The colors will merge together, and in some cases you may even create new shades once the hues are mixed.

4. Let the painting dry and set completely. Be sure that the paper is not ripped. The paper is fragile so pour only small amounts of paint onto the kite.

5. As the final step, add the finishing touches to your kite. Attach the net piece to your kite as a tail. The tail will follow the kite as it flies through the air.

If you are planning to paint both sides of your kite, you must let the first side dry completely before you move on to the second side.
